  • At Carpet Master, we strive to offer the most cost-effective service with our powerful van/truck mounted steam cleaning machines. While some services may be cheaper, they often use portable machines that simply can't match the effectiveness of a van mount.

We also invest in high-quality equipment and products to identify and target problem areas, ensuring you receive a superior cleaning service. Unlike some companies, we're not tied to specific product deals, so we always choose the best products for your carpets.

And remember – if you find a cheaper quote for a van-mounted steam cleaning service, we'll beat it by 10%!

  • We clean carpets using steam cleaning, also known as ‘hot water extraction’. For houses 1-2 (sometimes 3) stories we use our van mounted carpet cleaning machine, which is the most effective carpet cleaning machine.

For apartments and some commercial spaces, we will often use our portable machine. It will offers an effective clean, however it is just a little less efficient to use and sometimes requires more work in removing some stains. This is due to the length of hoses and access to an outdoor tap - which impacts what machine we can use.

  • The length of time it takes for your carpet to dry is dependent on the weather. Airflow, temperature and humidity all have an effect. It could take from 6 – 14 hours. Using fans, dehumidifiers, air-conditioning, and heating systems (depending on the weather) can help. We may use blocks or paper, under furniture legs for instance, make sure you leave those in place until the carpet is totally dry. Walking on the carpet is ok but wear clean rubber soled shoes, or no shoes at all. You certainly don’t want to be walking on your freshly cleaned carpet in street shoes. Think also of your safety when walking from damp carpet on to slippery floors.

  • We cannot guarantee that we will remove all spots or stains. There are substances that can permanently discolour the carpet fibres. The age of the carpet and the type of carpet fibres also plays a factor in this. The technician will try to determine if this is the case prior to cleaning and while they are usually able to give you a clear answer, they are not always able to 100% determine before trying to remove the stains. • The simple answer is Yes. There are some items we are not able to move such as pianos, large electronics, China cabinets, beds, dressers with mirrors, pool tables, any furniture that sits flat on the carpeted surface. We also recommend that you remove items such as lamps, plants, breakables, knick knacks and electronics. We won’t charge extra to move small and easily movable items of furniture. Once we have finished, we will return anything we have moved to its rightful place on protective padding as needed.

  • Although most spots/stains that are removed from carpet do not reappear, on rare occasions some substances in the carpet backing can wick to the surface after cleaning and drying. Sometimes (depending on the stain source) it requires certain chemicals for removal. If this happens, please contact us with a photo and we will contact you to work out a solution.

  • We require at least 24 hours notice on cancellation and reschedules, otherwise you may have to forfeit your 10% deposit due to lost potential jobs. We are unfortunately a very small team and require plenty of notice to ensure we can guarantee our workers jobs.

However, if there are unforeseen issues, please give us a call and we can discuss the best option for you. For full terms and conditions - click here

  • A light vacuuming in the traffic areas is recommended but not required. Our steam cleaning machine can suck up small debris. However, if there is heavy debris that can be picked up with your hand, this should be removed prior to arrival.

  • Payment is always expected on day of completion unless otherwise agreed.

If we did not receive the payment within 7 days, we will attempt two times by email and email and a letter will be sent to recover the costs before this is sent to our debt recovery service. If we are unsuccessful and unable to reach agreement on resolving the accounts (in writing) within 31 days, we will forward it to the recovery agency. The client will be liable to pay any additional charges. For full terms and conditions - click here.

It is also important to note that if you are not happy with your clean, you must notify us within 48 hours so we can investigate. We understand that not everything may go as expected and we try to be as upfront as possible throughout the process. If you ask about particular stains or problem areas, we will give our best advice. If we advise the strain may become or is permanent, you reserve the right to cancel our service. If you continue you will be expected to pay the quoted price. If you contact us outside the 48 hour window, we also reserve the right to charge the full fee.
