Carpet Master is a family-run Auckland carpet cleaning business, led by Kerry, who has worked in the industry for more than 30 years.
Before starting Carpet Master, Kerry had already spent years running a much larger cleaning operation. He eventually wanted something smaller and more hands-on, where he could deal directly with customers and focus on doing the work properly.
Today, Kerry still carries out every Carpet Master job himself.
🧠 Experience you can actually use
After more than 30 years in the industry, Kerry has seen just about every type of carpet, stain and cleaning problem you can imagine.
He’s also pretty particular about getting things right.
If you send through a photo of a stain before booking, he’ll often ask what caused it, how long it has been there and whether anything has already been used on it. Sometimes he’ll be able to tell you straight away that there’s a good chance of getting it out. Other times he’ll tell you it’s probably permanent before you spend money trying.
And if something is beyond repair or simply isn’t worth cleaning, we’d rather tell you that than take the job for the sake of it.
🚐 Good equipment, without premium-brand pricing
We use professional commercial-grade equipment, including our van-mounted steam extraction system, because good equipment makes a difference.
But we also don’t believe professional carpet cleaning needs to be ridiculously expensive.
Our aim is pretty simple: use proper equipment, do a good job and charge what we think the work is actually worth.
Kerry’s experience also means he works efficiently. Doing a thorough job doesn’t have to mean taking all day when you’ve developed a good method over decades of doing it.
🔁 A lot of our work comes back
We’re lucky to have plenty of repeat residential customers, along with ongoing commercial work across Auckland.
That includes schools, theatres, rest homes and other businesses that use Carpet Master regularly rather than just once.
For us, that’s probably the best sign that we’re doing something right.

We’ll be upfront about what we think can be achieved, what something is likely to cost, and whether we think a job is actually worth doing.

If you’re not happy with the result, we offer unlimited re-cleans* until you’re satisfied.
We’ll also be upfront before we start about what we think can be fixed, what may be permanent, and what result is realistically achievable.
If something needs a little extra attention, we’d rather come back and put it right than leave you unhappy.
